In late 2016, right before setting off to DPRK, I turned to Zo and asked, “Whats next? Antarctica?”

What started as mediocre attempt at sarcasm ended up two years later as a month long conquest of the 7th continent and Patagonia, learning about the people who first pioneered the Ice continent, and the unbearably cute inhabitants who were there first.

The plan was to go to Antarctica first, then hike and camp in Patagonia after. Here was the plan below.

We decided to go with Quark Tours for Antarctica (and we’re glad we did), with whom we leared we had to keep a loose itinerary due to unforecastable weather and sea-ice conditions. Things went better than expected regardless. Every day in Antarctica had something new in store for us.
